Kindergarten

Starting Kindergarten is a special milestone, and at Narrabeen North Public School we ensure every child begins their journey with confidence, happiness and a strong sense of belonging. Our carefully planned transition program helps children feel comfortable and excited about starting school well before their first day. Through school tours, orientation sessions, classroom visits, and opportunities to meet teachers and future classmates, children become familiar with their new surroundings and form positive connections that make the transition smooth and enjoyable.

Our Kindergarten teachers are nurturing, experienced and dedicated to understanding each child as an individual. They create welcoming, structured and engaging learning environments where the foundations of literacy, numeracy, social skills and wellbeing are thoughtfully developed. Through a balance of explicit teaching, play-based learning and supportive routines, children quickly grow in confidence and begin to see themselves as capable and enthusiastic learners.
