Canteen

Our school canteen, The Healthy Hut, is operated by the P&C Association and is run by our paid canteen manager with the additional support of volunteers, who we rely on to be able to provide the Healthy Hut service to the school, 5 days a week.

We are proud to offer healthy, fresh food for our kids, made from organic and locally sourced produce where possible. Much of our food is made from scratch on the premises and is served at recess and lunchtimes. We provide a range of sandwiches, salads and soups, with a choice of 3 main meals each lunchtime.

Healthy snack items are also on sale at recess and lunch (no ordering necessary).

Birthday cupcakes or icy poles can be ordered for class celebrations. These orders must be placed a day in advance.

Want to volunteer?

Volunteer support is vital for the running of the canteen every day. Even if you can only give an hour of your time, it is very much appreciated. Friday is our busiest day for service, but help is needed every day to prepare the delicious food available.

If you are able to volunteer any time in the canteen, please contact our Canteen Manager, via email at thehealthyhut@gmail.com. Alternatively, pop into The Healthy Hut and add your name and available times to the calendar.
