NNPS Debating

Narrabeen North Primary School has a successful debating team. Students enjoy meeting regularly to improve their skills in debating and persuasive public speaking. Students enjoy working as a team, developing their thinking and organisation skills and improving their presentation manner.

Narrabeen North participated successfully in the 2014 Premier's Debating Challenge. Students also competed in ‘friendly' debates against our local schools which also involved debates transmitted via connected classroom technologies. Many students have attended the annual PCS debating camp and willingly share their skills and experiences with their peers.

Debating is yet another exciting opportunity provided at NNPS to strengthen and enhance the skills of students involved.
